Developed a master's program and a doctoral program emphasis in gifted education within the educational leadership program. Developed a Center for Gifted Education that engages in research and development, outreach, and service to precollegiate gifted learners and their families. The Center annually supports multiple graduate students and seven FTE professionals with a budget ranging from $700,000 to $2,000,000 annually since 1989.
